The Eighth Age is one of the nine ages in the history of Fartherall.
History
At some point during the course of the Eighth Age a monster entered Fartherall through a portal from another dimension. With it came a huge wave of seawater.

Matt Vancil has described the genre of Eighth Age stories as "dieselpunk".
