Behind the Scenes

The orcish atrocity knives were designed by John Moore, the series' original production designer.

The riddle pillar was constructed out of lightweight styrofoam. It visibly wiggles when Perf makes his rubbing.

This episode was shot concurrently with many parts of JQ: Episode 01.06, showing events both from the party's perspective and Wren's perspective.

Matt Vancil designed Carrow to be instantly likeable, and cast Brian Lewis in the part, to help make sure that his fate at the end of this episode would resonate emotionally.
