The Black Arms supply weapons to orcdom, and others wishing to buy in the [[Afterlands]]. Many signatures of Orcish weaponry (including barbs, hooks, and serrated edges) come directly from this clan.

The Black Arms are widespread. Many live in their clan's city at their territory's center, but subtribes of the Black Arms exist within other territories. They are a practical people, against Orcish unity, extremely proficient in their weapons and dedicated to their craft.

''Reviled for their collaboration with the Underkings, the Astral Voyagers are the least Orcish--and most Ordic--of all the clans.''

The Astral Voyagers are descended from the orcs who collaborated with the Underkings prior to the [[Red Exodus]], as well as the Ordic scientist and technomancers who were forced to experiment on their own kind.

Because of these orcs, "blue-skinned" is synonymous with "traitor."

But in the Red Exodus, the Astral Voyagers also turned against their slavers and escaped over the [[Blue Mountains]], into [[Silverwood]], and met the other half of their clan: deforested elves.

Astral voyagers tend to be slim, graceful, long-lived, and blue-tinted. They tend to look more like elves than orc, and avoid orcs whenever possible.

The Wave Hunters descend from the fishermen and brute laborers in the waterworks for the [[Underkings]]. These orcs used the water as an escape, reasoning that dwarves are poor swimmers, eventually taking to the sea. The Hunters have slowly spread across much of the northern shores of the Afterlands.

Wave Hunter vessels are fast, maneuverable, and can sail up rivers or through reefs. Settling their shipyards near the arctic region, the Wave Hunters hunt herring, cod, as well as larger, more dangerous seafaring prey.

Wave Hunters generally do not violate treaties or break pacts. Breaking a pact with a Wave Hunter can cause a multi-generation vendetta.

Note: If a coastal village drives off a Wave Hunter Raid, they are declare ''ekto praskit skaeliz ka'', respected, and soon traded with.

Red Realm

Two generations ago, the Red Realm broke off from the Black Spears to form a new clan, under the red-haired leader Lorad Tompa. The Red Realm only have thirty to forty individuals. All individuals either have red hair, dye their hair red, or shave themselves bald. The Red Realm will accept half breeds.

The potato is a staple to the Red Realm, and the high-carb tuber is especially good for orcs waking from hibernation. The Red Realm symbol is a potato with horns.

The Red Realm clan lives in the mountain, and out of necessity, has a trade relationship with dwarves. Gross.

Possibly hailing from the [[Austral]] continent, these nomads are extremely deadly swordsorcs. Other than occasionally mining for ore, the Wandering Ronins will either will show up outside a settlement and allow its residents to either hire them as mercenaries, or duel them for the settlement's good.

These orcs wield the elvish crescent sword (katana) with deadly precision, and anyone who cannot wield a blade is either a child or pathetic. Dueling does not have to be to the death, but blood is required. Any victory, even underhanded, counts. Any orc (or half orc) who can duel may duel to join the clan. The challenger is in upon a win or draw against a current member.

Note: they hate the ocean.

During the [[Red Exodus]], the Wallbreakers' ancestors collapsed [[Gate-Fortress]] at the [[Battle of the Entryway]]. This proto-clan then lay seige to [[Highseat]], a naturally defensible city nestled in a bowl valley. The Wallbreakers still occupy this today.

The Wallbreakers, are strict, stern, and prone to cold revenge. They highly value education, and have one of the finest universities of orcdom. This university specializes in war and science and Ordic history. The engineering class rules, and is based on a strict meritocracy. There are many orok in the Wallbreaker ranks, since the ogre prides regularly hire Wallbreakers to assist in their wars against the wyrm.

Wallbreaker engineers have had some success reverse engineering Ordic memory crystals. Wallbreakers can be found in [[Black Spears|Black Spear]] armies, but they're hella arrogant.

Descended from orcs sent by dwarves to explore subterranean dangers, the Walkers in Shadow live their lives underground. They have keen eyesight, and yet still believe sight is a far overused sense. Kitasi, also known as the Penumbral Poet, lived in the time of the red exodus and wrote a famed tale containing a hundred different words for "dark." Many orcs believe Kitasi is still alive, or has been reincarnated in each generation.

The Walkers in Shadow search for truth in the subterranean caverns, and believe that mystic answers and the footprints of their god can only be found in places where no sentient being has stepped.

The Walkers in Shadow provide information on dwarf movement to the surface-dwelling orcs. The [[Black Spears]] and other militant clans use this to dissuade dwarf armies from moving toward the surface. For this "Dwarf Watch" service, the surface clans often provide food and other resources to the Walkers in Shadow, allowing this clan to remain where they like to be: Underground.

''Renowned siege masters obsessed with the Ord, the Wallbreakers and their war machines are feared throughout Fartherall.''

The ancestors of these orcs came from the servicers of the [[Underkings]]' war machine and the descendants of the Ordic engineers untangling technomancy. During the [[Red Exodus]], the Wallbreakers' ancestors collapsed [[Gate-Fortress]] at the [[Battle of the Entryway]]. This proto-clan then lay seige to [[Highseat]], a naturally defensible city nestled in a bowl valley. The Wallbreakers still occupy this today.

The Wallbreakers, are strict, stern, and prone to cold revenge. They highly value education, and have one of the finest universities of orcdom. This clan of Rangers and Druids hid, camouflaged, and remained in the nearby woods during the Red Exodus. Their Rangers have no equal among orcdom. The clan is led by a prime druid and head ranger, chosen via meritocracy.

Clan youth must choose their path, druid or ranger, and undergo the trial. Rangers must live for three-to-six months on the wilderness, while druids must shapeshift into an animal for one month per animal. Some youth die during the trials, seen as part of nature's cycle.

The Walkers of the Woods and Sky do accept outsiders into the clan if the outsiders are willing to accept the way of the clan. Even gadzork, except dwarves, whose nature is too destructive and takes advantage of nature. Walkers can get along with elves, provided the elves are not too too snooty.

Living in temporary villages on high mountain peaks, the Storm Crows are a clan seers, sages, and shamans whose oracular powers are known throughout orcdom. Aeromancers in the clan are able to bend the wind and move the tribe from peak to peak, allowing their villages to vanish overnight without a trace.

As a Storm Crow comes of age, the young orc undergoes a ritual in which it bonds to a crow. Oracular gifts manifest after this. Their few hundred clan members are survival-oriented, and will use every part of their surroundings, even the bodies of their dead. To augur the future, Storm Crows must sacrifice one of their own and consume the flesh.

This clan has been known to send initiates to the [[Fogwatchers]], to more deeply understand their powers and traditions. The Storm Crows have the most contact with the [[Black Spears]], who consult with them regularly.

After breaking away from the [[Black Spears]] a century ago, the Spikes are interested in the relics and ruins of the Afterlands, particularly the dwarves and their firearms.

Steel Spikes are ruled by a chief who must be both strong and wise. If the chief is not wise enough to sniff out unrest or usurper plots, then that chief is not fit to rule. Steel Spike youth are prone to death by dare in games of "weakling," in which a young orc will be dared to do something dangerous or deadly.

The Steel Spikes are slavers of gadzork, preferring dwarves.

After breaking away from the [[Black Spears]] a century ago, the Spikes are interested in the relics and ruins of the Afterlands, particularly the dwarves and their firearms.

Steel Spikes are ruled by a chief who must be both strong and wise. If the chief is not wise enough to sniff out unrest or usurper plots, then that chief is not fit to rule. Steel Spike youth are prone to death by dare in games of "weakling," in which a young orc will be dared to do something dangerous or deadly.

The Steel Spikes are slavers of gadzork, preferring dwarves.

This clan split off from the [[Fogwatchers]] in order to have a more meaningful impact on orcdom. They spread a philosophy of peace and mindfulness, and though their message is often misunderstood by other clans, the Speakers are patient.

A small sect of this clan, created by converts, has developed their martial arts based on the messages of peace and self-reflection, but the clan at large is not martial. The Speakers have powerful shamans and sorcerers in their ranks, whose magic focuses on communication, calming emotion, and sleep.

Speaker Therapy is used to ease pain for those suffering from sleep madness.

A Speaker-led group in the [[Temple of All Dooms]] was recently slaughtered by a [[Glorion|rampaging human warrior]].

This magic-based clan is divided internally between shamans and necromancers. Previously two clans about to go to war, a raven appeared during a parley of their leaders, and the two clans combined. They view themselves as two sides of the same coin: life and death.

In the [[Afterlands]] between the [[polar north]] and [[midland forests]], each side of these two sects view the other as cousins. They are ruled by a council of five, two necromancers, two shamans, and one tie-breaking warrior.

Members of each sect are prevented from intermating. Therefore, villages of the other sect are sometimes raided for mates.
